Just Doodling

While I was cleaning/organizing yesterday, I found this scrap of paper. A short while ago, I was out and had some time to kill while I was waiting for a friend. Having nothing with me to read or do, I grabbed a piece of paper nearby, turned it over and took out my purple pen. I didn’t have a proper calligraphy pen with me, so I improvised with what I had, drawing in the heavy marks. Calligraphy is something I’d like to spend more time doing, but gosh, there’s just too many things that I enjoy doing and too little time!

Sharon I have always wanted to perfect this art. I don't even know where to start, but just getting the inspiration from your gorgeous scrap of paper is a start. Just lovely dear friend.

You wrote/drew that?? That is amazing. I make a mean stick figure, but I can't imagine something like that coming from a pen in my hand!

I wouldn't be able to write like that in my wildest dreams. That's not doodling -- that's a masterpiece! :) Blessings, Tammy

Sharon - we must be on the same wavelength. Last week I purchased a beautiful pad of paper and a Caligraphy set. It is something I have always wanted to perfect. I just think the art is fantastic! Haven't had a chance to play yet . . . (gee - do you think because it's December?) but I keep promising myself I will get to it.
Thanks for sharing! That paper is amazing.
