Do Gerbera Daisies Really Taste That Good?

As you can see, there is a sad, partially eaten flower laying on the table. This is the "after" picture. The "before" picture is shown below. These were beautiful long-stemmed gerbera daisies. That is, until Nippy got hold of them. This morning I found one that was chewed off and several others that had droopy necks. That silly cat cannot resist biting the flower heads off. So, I cut all the stems to fit in this little five inch vase, which is actually very sweet. Unfortunately, they spent the day in the garage in the dark as Nip kept eyeing them while I made breakfast. The only reason they lasted this long is because Nip was busy working on the Canadian poppies. Silly cat!

I love those daises too. Not to eat, but to enjoy looking at. It looks the cat may like the taste.

Good Morning Sharon:
You are sooooooo delightful and your cats truly have personality!!!
They must taste good to Nip; perhaps she prefers "savory" to sweet as Miss Gracie has the sweet tooth gene : )
Have a sweet day you can savor : )
